We needed to:
Strip the existing roof of all old slates and rotting timbers; Replace several rafters, perlins, facias and under-soffits; Fit new 75 mm celutex insulation in between rafters; Felt and baton using breathable felt using 2×1 treated batons; Slate the roof using new 12×24 fibre cement slates and copper nails and tingles; Supply and fit new lead work to chimney; Coat with patination oil; Repoint stonework where needed; Prime, undercoat and paint all wood work.
